How it Works

Step 1: Initial Consultation

During the initial consultation, we will sit down in person or over zoom to talk about your fitness goals, and what we can do for you. Usually during this time we get to know one another, you can tell us about any past experiences you have with fitness, go over what our process looks like and ask us any questions. If you are coming from a physical therapist, this is when we will talk about past medical history and desired outcomes as you move out of physical therapy and into personal training. The initial consult is free of charge.

Step 2: BMW

Body | Move | Work


Body

A body scan gives us a starting point to work off of. This will tell us your body fat percentage, resting metabolic rate, and lean body mass. We use these numbers to accurately write programs and monitor progress.

Move

Next we will go through a movement screening that tells us your strengths, weaknesses, and any mobility limitations you might have. We use this information to make sure the programs we write for you are safe and effective.

Work

Finally, we will do a 10:00 bike to measure your metabolic fitness. This gives us a starting point for how strong your heart and lungs are, and we can reference this to measure improvement down the road.

Step 3: Working Out!

Your program will be given to you through the software we use: CoachRx.

Your program includes warm ups, workout instructions, example videos, and cooldowns. We can also give nutrition and lifestyle goals here, if that is something you are interested in taking advantage of. You can message your trainer through the app, upload photos, videos, and workout results to track your progress. You can also book your monthly consults through the app which will allow you to stay connected to your trainer and let us keep your program updated and as specific to you as possible.

You can do your workouts at home, at your own gym, or at our gym. We will write the workouts based on the equipment you have available.


Pricing

The program is $100 flat rate, and any in person sessions are an additional $50/hr. Contact us for details on packages that can reduce the cost for you.
